Shortly after 7 p.m. on Dec. 18, officers from the Arlington County Police Department were called to the area of 8th Road South and South Greenbrier Street, where there was an alleged incident involving an unknown passerby and his victim.
The woman alleges that she was walking outside when the man approached her from behind, inappropriately touched her, then scurried away from the area on foot without further incident.
According to police, the suspect is described as a heavy-set Hispanic man, who was approximately 30 years old, 5-foot-6, who was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, black gloves, and a hoodie.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
